mushroom burger no bun

I like a burger or a steak please, but wait, don’t eat the cow, well holy cow, who needs cow for a burger and a steak? Not us, we got mushrooms –  we are covered. 

So on the grill our mushroom steak/ burgers will go – and then just like a burger we can dress it anyway we like. Lemon dill dressing, yum yum, spicy aioli, yes please, may mustard, pickles, lettuce tomato, well we lettuce dress the mushroom the way you love. 

lemon dill dressing:

Juice from 1 lemon, 1 grated garlic clove, 4 tablespoons olive oil, chopped dill, splash of red chili flakes

Grill mushrooms, season with salt, and pour dressing over the mushrooms

Serve with arugula and or additional  toppings such as:

lemon aioli: 3 tablespoons mayo+ juice from 1/2 lemon + grated garlic

or

Lemon caper dill: 3 tablespoons mayo+1 teaspoon lemon juice+ 1 teaspoon mustard, dijon, chopped dill and capers

OR

srirahcia mayo: mayo+ srirachia to taste
